Sociaal Winkelpunt (Social Grocery Shop)

At Sociaal Winkelpunt Deurne, people can buy food, care and household products at a low price. Some products are sold in smaller quantities. After referral by a social service, people can enter the social grocery shop. They choose their own products and pay for them, which is important for self-esteem. Next to the shop is a cosy meeting area where people can go for coffee or tea and create new social networks.

Internationaal Comité (International Comittee)

The Internationaal Commité (IC) is a multicultural federation with approximately 350 affiliated associations throughout Flanders and Brussels. We are committed to strengthening society from the perspective of people and communities with a migration background. As a federation, we work on social participation and social integration, with a special focus on these key themes: participation, culture, education, employment, and healthcare and well-being. We build partnerships around these themes, ranging from small to large-scale collaborations, that contribute to an inclusive and socially just society.

Happy Bee

We are a team that supports families in every aspect. We especially want to reach children and parents at risk of living in poverty and vulnerability. We do this by organizing various projects. Goal:🎯 ✔️To improve the quality of life in families and strengthen their self-confidence in their own abilities ✔️To help families feel more at home in our society ✔️To have a positive presence in offering support in various areas ✔️Families' needs are central. Our focus is always on recognizing their needs.

Ishane vzw

Ihsane vzw organizes accessible activities together with migrant women of diverse backgrounds, with the aim of strengthening their self-reliance. Children are also involved, with a focus on their empowerment. Health is a central theme, and thanks to the support of Welzijnszorg, we are focusing this year on training courses on mental health and well-being. In this way, we address the inner workings of poverty—the common thread throughout our project.

De Vijver

De Vijver has been supporting people with disabilities, their families, and their support network for 40 years. We offer care and permanent support, as well as creative, sporting, and social activities. For us, the person with a disability is central: they have their own dreams, make their own choices, and have their own place in society.

Lus vzw

Lus believes that people aren't meant to live alone. Our volunteers bring family, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances together around a central figure. This creates unique groups of people who share events, stories, wishes, and concerns. Lus also organizes "link groups." These consist of eight people who don't know each other yet. They meet once a month to form a community where everyone feels included. Through a series of self-selected activities, they get to know each other and explore what connects them.

Wiegwijs

Wiegwijs vzw supports (soon-to-be) parents with young children through more than 200 consultation offices in Flanders and Brussels, in cooperation with Kind en Gezin. It also offers parenting support through walk-in teams, family support at home in the Waasland region and cooperates in the Houses of the Child. We are committed to a strong start for every child, together with volunteers, local partners and governments.

Ladies Life Club

With Ladies Life Club, we seek to unite and empower women. We offer many diverse workshops including painting, baking, flower arranging, as well as zumba and even group therapy!

Psychology practice Curo

At Curo, we offer psychodiagnostics, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and career guidance, with a strong focus on connection. At the Bazaar, we organize weekly group sessions where people can work on their personal growth in a safe and respectful environment. We attach great importance to cultural sensitivity and diversity: our multilingualism and the wide range of backgrounds within our team and clientele are a significant added value to our services.

Farida's homework class

In Farida's homework class, children receive homework guidance every weekend in a warm and accessible way.

Service partners in Bazaar2100

At Bazaar2100, we also regularly welcome our service partners. They organize workshops, consultations and other activities, or work on a location-based basis. We collaborate with CM, Familiehulp, Huis van het Kind, and others to achieve this.
